How to choose a geyser
- Capacity first (see FAQ). Bigger tanks take longer to heat and cost more to keep warm.
- Pressure rating matters in high-rise buildings with pressure pumps; check the bar rating against your plumbing.
- Hard water areas: models with anti-scale features or glass-lined tanks are worth considering. Check the listing for the tank type.
- Safety: use ISI-marked products, have a qualified electrician install them, and use the correct earthing.
